We begin performing a simple knot with the paper strip. The knot must be tight tied meanwhile it is squashed to obtain a pentagon. Undo the knot and fold all the strip onto the pentagon obtained with the knot. We need the paper strip with 75 trapezes marked in it, as is shown in the figure 1. This figure explain how to tie the basic double knots that are linked together as is shown in the figure 2. The twelve pentagonal knots are tied together into a dodecahedron by means of the remaining strip that is passed thought the knots as show the numbered arrows in the figure 2(b). The model obtained is somewhat 'loose' but nobody can deny that we have got to tie a paper strip into a dodecahedron!
